A Nan walks into a grocery store…
In 1983, I was 26 years old, just back from living for six months on my own (no Peace Corps) in a 600-person village in West Africa, and wasn’t sure what was next in life.
There was a little two-store hippie chain of natural foods grocery stores in New Orleans called, “Whole Food Company and I figured that might be a good place to “work”.
The next 40 years of all who were involved are chronicled in this week’s episode of “Welcome to Nanlandia; The Defining Episode of Nanlandia.”
The segment is called, “A Whole Life” with Peter Roy. Without Peter Roy, your very own life would be a completely different world and I ain’t making that up. The effect he had on my life went far beyond food. And far beyond, even, me(!)
