Duh-Duh-Duh-DAAAAAA! (That's the music)
Y’all! This is getting real! And real fun! As well as real close!
We will be launching the first podcast in Nanlandia a week from today, on March 15th (which I recognize is the IDES of March and not the Ideas of March, like stupid-ass auto-correct decided it should be in my email last week.)
A friend told me today that one segment of the podcast should be called, “Nan-Splaining” where I tell you e’erthang I’m thinking about. And here’s what I’m thinking about right now:
These poor kids ain’t gonna be able to do NOTHIN’ for themselves! Not only does autocorrect tell the people you’re writing to what it decides you meant to say, regardless of how nonsensical it may be, but my emails now write themselves with suggested sentence-finishings, in a most annoying fashion. Cars slow down by themselves to the speed limit, parallel-park themselves and everything else. How in the world are these young’uns supposed to learn how to do anything in life? No wonder they’re et up with anxiety! What if everything stops working? Where they gonna be at in life then?
Okay, that’s all I had to say.
Except that you can now find Welcome to Nanlandia (the podcast) on Apple Podcasts and Spotify! Just like real people! (I mean, real podcasters!) And at www.Nanlandia.com/Podcast, as well. We only have the two short practice ones up right now, but as of next Wednesday, it’s on for real! We have five segments recorded, edited and ready to go and I can’t decide which is my favorite. One of the ones we recorded last Saturday has already changed my life – I’ll let you know when we get to that one.
AND! Y’all up in Massachusetts paying attention to the Elmer’s saga, stay tuned to that as well, as it is just about to get as exciting as a brand-new podcast, itself!
